Made my Whiskey Oak Grilled Asparagus for Easter and for the first time in my life we had leftovers. Truth is that I made about 4 lbs of asparagus and even know they were small diameter they were woody/tough..maybe from the drought??
Anyhoo…take your Whiskey Oak Grilled Asparagus and make it happy with some roasted onion, garlic, and potato…all seasoned with Whiskey Oak Steak Seasoning of course…simmer in vegetable (or chicken) stock and then blend creamy. Yummy, healthy, Smokin’ Goodness and a good use of left-over grilled asparagus (a very rare occurrence).
