Prepare the ingredients by dicing the tomatoes, onion, and jalapeno
2
Roll limes firmly under the palm of your hand on flat surface (this will help get more juices out later)
3
Optional: Use a mortar and pestle (molcajete), to pulverize the Whiskey Oak Smoked Steak Seasoning (if the larger seeds etc are not desired. You can also use a small food processor or coffee grinder)
4
Cut avocados in half, remove seed, and scoop out flesh into large bowl
5
Cut one lime in half and squeeze juice over avocados to prevent browning
6
Add tomatoes, onion, jalapeno (to taste), Whiskey Oak Steak Seasoning, and hot sauce.
7
Gently mix to combine and add juice of second lime to taste
8
Serve with tortilla chips
NOTE: I pulverized the Smoked Steak Seasoning and noticed that it actually changed the flavor profile in an amazing way. For dishes that you don't want the full burst of fresh spices in your mouth, this method is fantastic.
