Heat grill to medium high heat.
Trim an inch off the tip and stem, and pull one layer off the husk, leaving the remainder of the husk intact.
Place corn directly on pre-heated grill grates and turn (as you would a hot dog) every four minutes.
Cook until outside of husk is charred and inside kernels are pleasantly caramelized, about 12 minutes.
Carefully peel off the husk and silk (corn will be hot)
Serve with butter, Whiskey Oak Smoked Salt, and a grinding of fresh ground pepper.
