For Meatloaf

1 lb Lean Ground Beef

1/2 cup Diced Onion

1/2 cup Diced Red Bell Pepper

1/4 cup Grated Carrot

1 Clove Garlic (minced)

1 tbsp Whiskey Oak Steak Seasoning (ground)

1 tsp Whiskey Oak Smoked Salt

1 tsp Worcestershire Sauce

1 Egg

1 cup Bread Curmbs (I use Panko)

1/2 cup Half & Half (or milk)

For Glaze

1/2 cup Ketchup

1 tsp Cumin

1 tbsp Whiskey Oak Smoked Sugar

1 tsp Hot Sauce

1Heat oven to 325 F.

2In a small bowl combine bread crumbs and half & half (or milk). Stir to moisten the bread until all liquid is absorbed.

3In a large bowl combine the Ground Beef, Onion, Bell Pepper, Carrot, Garlic, Whiskey Oak Steak Seasoning, Whiskey Oak Smoked Salt, Worcestershire, Egg and moist Bread Crumbs. Gently fold ingredients together with spoon or clean hands. Do not over-mix as it will become a dense loaf.

4Place meat mixture into un-greased loaf pan or free-form a loaf on a parchment lined jellyroll pan.

5Mix together the Ketchup, Cumin, Whiskey Oak Smoked Sugar and Hot Sauce and spread evenly over loaf to form glaze.

6Bake in preheated oven for approximately 40 minutes or until an Internal Temp (IT) of 160. Remove from oven and let stand 10 minutes before serving.
