Whiskey Oak Smoked Steak Seasoning, along with Balsamic and Olive Oil create a wonderful grilled asparagus that even the picky eaters in your house will enjoy. Grilled asparagus turns nutty and smokin' good when grilled.

1Trim asparagus by breaking the tough end off of one by hand. It will naturally break at the correct place so simply flex until it breaks. Use this as your guide on where to cut the stems on the other spears.
2Mix all marinade ingredients in a zip-top bag or bowl then add asparagus spears and toss to coat.
3Let sit, turning occasionally, for at least 20 minutes.
4Heat grill to high heat.
5Once grill is nice and hot, lay asparagus spears, perpendicular to grates so they don't fall through.
6Grill, turning frequently, until nice and charred on the outside, about 5-7 minutes depending on the size of the spears.
7Sprinkle with extra Whiskey Oak Smoked Salt, if desired, just prior to serving.
The charred or almost burnt look on the spears gives it that distinct nutty flavor so don't be afraid to get a nice color on your asparagus.
